Need help from someone familiar with buying/selling car prices!?
Hi
I plan on buying an infiniti g37 2009 coupe with optional packages (sport/nav/premium). the price comes to approx 46,000 sticker. I negotiate with the person and he says he will take 2,000 off, so the price comes to 44,000. I say I will put 10,000 down. He brings me the paperwork back and the final price is 39,000.
Am I being ripped off somehow or is this correct price after taxes, license fees, etc etc? I know the tax will be about 3,000 something, but where is this number coming from? Is this correct or is something wrong?
If taxes are 3000 then they are ripping you off 2000. Perhaps they
forgot to take off what they promised. Cars aren’t selling, they
should be coming down alot more!!
