Ladies with lots of tattoos?
How many of you ladies have sleeves or numerous visible tattoos? How do people react to them. I have 4 myself right now but plan to be inked up nicely. How do guys react to your tattoos?
I should add this, my intended work occupation is welding. I am a certified welder. So, i guess my fancy dressed career wouldn’t really apply. But it’s interesting to see how much tattoos affect the workplace.
I’ve got 6 tattoos (and already know what the next 3 will be)…some of them are pretty big, but they are all in areas that I can cover if necessary.
In my experience, people who don’t know me judge me by the tattoos they see — like I’m mean or uneducated or going to jump up and take a crap on their desks. If I have a meeting at work with other teams or customers I make sure to wear clothes that will cover all of them, but if it’s just my team in the office they all know I love the tattoos and it doesn’t even phase them when I get a new one – but I never would have gotten the job if I didn’t cover up for the interview.
I love my tatts because they all have very special meanings to me – but knowing I can cover them if I need to is important.
