Hybrid Only
Has anyone heard of a 80 kmh or long range hybrid only sold in europe?
I heard about this interesting car a few days ago. I wanted to do a study report on this long range hybrid and hybrids from the US. although i searched google and found nothing so far. So here i am. it doesn’t have to be 80 KMH though. maybe i heard wrong. but maybe someone here heard about a longer range hybrid sold only in europe. thanks for your help.
80 kmh is only 45 mph. That’s not very fast by American standards.
It’s quite possible to build such a hybrid. You’re essentially talking about an electric car with an added gas engine for unlimited range. It’s VERY easy to build a homebrew electric with 40 miles range and 45mph top speed. By which I mean, convert a gas car to electric. Add the gas engine and go to infinity and beyond! (lol, couldn’t resist!)
