Who created the classification system original downhill skiing, and what is the meaning of the colors used?
I'm curious, where color options green, blue and black wine. The green and black, the colors seem obvious choices. Blue seems a somewhat arbitrary choice of color.
I do not know who invented the system. The paths are the easiest green, blue runs are more difficult, and black are the most difficult roads. These Ratings are on a trail system in particular. That is, a green run in a resource may be as difficult as a blue path in another system if the second system is harder on everything.
