how do i program my new ignition key for my 2000 pontiac bonnevile?
i ordered a new key with the chip in it for my 2000 pontiac bonneville and received no instructions on how to program to work please help
Try this:
1) Place alread programmed key into ignition. Cycle ignition from OFF – ON(RUN) – OFF.
2) Within 15 seconds, insert the new transponder key in the ignition.
3) Turn the key to ON(RUN) or START.
4) The theft “Security” light will go on then off. Turn key to “OFF” position.
5) The key will now start the vehicle.
