I have a 1973 Beetle bug it won’t idle, start fine run good,if i pedal it will run but won’t idle help?
Your carburetor may need to be removed and thoroughly cleaned out. Small particles of gunk may be floating around inside.Remove it,carefully take it apart,use some carb cleaner or brakeleen and individually clean each part and reassemble.Be careful not to tear the gaskets.fine sandpaper and wire brushes can be used to clean some of the surfaces. Use compressed air to dry.
