What color shoes/boots to wear with a navy blue jacket?

If I were to wear some kind of boot with this, what color should it be, black, brown, anything else? Both dressy and casual, or any kind of shoe that works in winter!
I don’t choose shoes/boots to match outerwear…. because once you are where you are going, you’ll take it off anyway. I really like the coat… very nice !!!!
