How do I clean away tomato sauce stains from my beautiful babyblue shirt?

As soon as I spilled the sauce on my shirt I took it off an let it in water and detergent for hours. But after washed you can still see those stains. Should I get rid of my shirt?

lemon juice salt an a little baking soda make a paste and let sit baby it for a little while and littly keep rubbing -good luck!
