Project Car

What do I need to start doing my own painting Autobody in my Project Car?

Im going to start doing some filling and painting in my car this summer 1964 AMC Rambler love their indicators, such as what is best for striping paint gun so a little spray to paint what is the best way to fill and so on. thanx

If the repair takes place only and do not want to spend much money, you can use aerosol cans with a color very similar to, but not perfect. I always use Bondo and use 100 grit to the grain more course to get most of the painting. Then use a even finer grain to smooth scratch. If you plan on painting a large part of the car with a gun I recommend buying a good book to learn to paint. A good book to have is the manual automotive paint in the books of HP. I have asked through the summit for about $ 25. Reading on this topic will save you time and money, probably because it's easy to ruin an entire paint job if you've never done before.
